5-Day Devotional: Courage to Follow God's Will
Day 1: Knowing But Still Going
Reading: John 18:1-4
Devotional: Jesus knew exactly what awaited Him in the garden—betrayal, arrest, mockery, and crucifixion. Yet He went anyway. The Bible says He knew "all things that should come upon Him" and still went forth. This wasn't ignorance or denial; it was divine determination. How often do we allow fear of tomorrow to rob us of obedience today? Jesus teaches us that knowing the cost doesn't excuse us from the call. Faith isn't the absence of knowledge about difficulties; it's the courage to obey despite them. What is God calling you to do that fear has kept you from? Like Jesus, set your face like flint toward God's will, regardless of what awaits you.

Closing Prayer: Father, give us courage to follow You no matter what awaits us. Help us set our faces like flint toward Your will. May we live with holy boldness, knowing our battle is Yours and our days are in Your hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.
